Will the Fed be tempted to hike?

Given the momentum of the US economy, the Fed may be tempted  to move in. However, the Fed may delay intervention as at this moment, the global growth looks vulnerable to recessionary trends.

Any increase in rates might result in a flight of capital from emerging economies into USA. Interest hikes might upset the balance of competitiveness adverse to USA companies.
